About Susan
Susan Marie Chapman, an award-winning author, hails from rural Pennsylvania and is the eldest of eight children. Her passion for storytelling started at a young age and was recognized when she won an award for a short story in sixth grade, published in a Reader Digest magazine for children. Susan has successfully merged her love for animals, children, and storytelling into a remarkable career. She debuted as a Children’s Book Author in 2017 with her book "Love, Sugar & Cookie," based on her twin Pomeranian dog sisters. Susan is also the creator of the immensely popular "Grumpy the Iguana" series, which is currently at thirteen books and counting.
