Review of my latest children’s book ‘Two If By Sea’

I thoroughly enjoyed Two If By Sea, the latest adventure in the Grumpy the Iguana series by Susan Marie Chapman. As Grumpy goes off on a fishing trip with his best friend Green Parrot, neither knew what the outcome of their voyage would be. In the course of their day trip off Miami Beach, they didn’t catch any fish however, due to their quick thinking, they saved some aquatic lives.

Ms. Chapman has found her voice as an environmental advocate among children’s writers. Her stories are interesting for children who are being introduced to topics such as ocean pollution in a manner to which all of us can relate. I especially appreciated the featuring of the Turtle Hospital of Marathon, Florida one of many independent wildlife rescue hospitals funded largely by donations and grants. It is so valuable to teach children about the environment and ways that they can help protect it. Well done, Ms. Chapman!
